Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4

During one of Christ's last major conversations with His disciples He said, "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what ye will, and it shall be given unto you."  What a wonderful promise of confidence Christ delivered to His 'friends' in their desperate time of need and fear!  They could place unwavering confidence in the Sovereign God, Creator and Sustainor of the universe, to adequately sufficiently supply all their needs.

Jesus' disciples, undoubtedly, were thrilled with this promise.  Today, like Christ's 'twelve', Christians hold fast to this promise, and with full assurance that Christ will answer their petitions, they "come boldly before the throne of God to obtain grace and help in their time of need."

At Harvest Outreach we have seen God answer prayer over and over again. Because of God's unwavering faithfulness in hearing and answering our prayer we invite you to e-mail us your prayer requests regardless how insignificant or commonplace these might be to you.  Unless the prayer request is marked 'private' we will pray for them during our services, and we will also pass them along to other church 'prayer chains' that will join with us "caring, sharing and bearing your burdens".

As the prayers are answered, and again we hear from you the report, we will join rejoicing the Lord for His faithfulness.  God richly bless you for entrusting your needs to this fellowship and other members of God's family around the world.

Remember: Prayer is nothing more than real people coming to a real God, in real time, with real needs, expecting Him to demonstrate His love and power by bringing about real, positive results - all to the praise of His glory. Knowing this, I encourage you to "pray without ceasing" (I Thessalonians 5:17).
