Our services are held primarily for three reasons. Firstly, to collective honor and worship God; secondly, to edify one another through the teaching/preaching of the Word; thirdly, to equip and empower each other to serve within the congregation.
The atmosphere of our services is radically different from most churches. Although we worship in a structured setting, which includes pastoral guidance, it is not uncommon for individuals to share a testimony, pray, sing, or share a special blessing unannounced. The congregational setting is 'family' orientated and those that attend regularly state how much they appreciate the 'liberty to worship and share' that is present at Harvest.

Regularly Held Worship Services
Sunday 9:45 - 10:30
Adult Bible Study
Directed by one of the Pastors, this often centres around discussions of a book within Scripture, or some pertinent Christian Life Study. Most recently Pastor Gordon directed the study, "A Christian Counter-Cultural Life-style" which examined the believer's approach to family, discipline, gambling, etc. Scripture is used as the foundation for our claims, but refrences made to newspapers, journals, internet articles that will aid believers develop a clearer understanding of their walk in Christ are also used. Presently Pastor John is leading a study on the book of Revelations.
In January, or when John's present study is complete, Gordon will begin a study, "How To Read The Bible For All It's Worth!"
Sunday 10:30 - 12:00 AM
Regular Morning Worship
This service consists of lively congregational singing from selections within both our hymn and chorus books. Prayer for the sick, as well as prayers for other needs within the church and/or those mentioned by attendees, is held. Often, as individuals feel comfortable, a time of sharing personal testimonies is enjoyed. A timely, edifying message, is shared by one of the pastors, and before parting, a time of coffee fellowship, which is regarded as a valued part of worship, is held.

Weekly Prayer Meeting
During this time prayer is made for the needs within the church and around the community. As well as presenting these needs, we remember our missionaries, our governments, and other concerns of which we've been informed. As we humble ourselves under the strong hand of the Almighty we continue to see miracles happen from week to week!
Sundays 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Evening bi-weekly services
On the 1st Sunday of the month we have a film or testimony night, while on the 3rd Sunday we hold our monthly 'Hymn Sing'.
1st Wednesday of the Month
Women's Ministry
A time of fellowship during which life skills are shared by women of the church. As opportunity affords itself, special speakers are invited to share regarding short term mission ventures, or special leadings of the Lord. Planning for special church functions is also done during these sessions. A great group of women tending to Kingdom matters.
